Predictive maintenance for chemical plants

How can a polysilicon or fine-chemical plant keep its circulation pumps, compressors, fans and agitators running without unplanned stops?

DHMSCare monitors the circulation pumps, compressors, fans and agitators of polysilicon plants.

It does the same for fine-chemical plants.

Wireless vibration and temperature sensors watch their bearings, gearboxes and motors.

Monitoring runs around the clock.

The industrial AI agent identifies early fault signs such as bearing anomalies and misalignment.

It recommends the next maintenance step.

Industry challenges

One stop costs the whole train

Polysilicon and fine-chemical processes run continuously, so a single pump or compressor trip can interrupt the entire train.

Hazardous areas limit inspection

Manual rounds in hazardous or restricted areas are limited, leaving machines uninspected between scheduled checks.

Agitator and pump wear

Agitator reducers and pump bearings wear quietly, and problems surface only when the process is already affected.

Too many machines for rounds

A plant has far more pumps, fans and agitators than a maintenance team can inspect by hand every day.

Monitoring solution

Focus monitoring on the bearings, gearboxes and motors of circulation pumps, compressors, fans and agitators across the polysilicon and fine-chemical trains.

Platform

DHMSCare uses AI to identify early fault signs such as gear wear and bearing anomalies, assess equipment health and provide maintenance recommendations.

AI Care

Includes Mina Pro

The first plan with AI fault diagnostics, the AI that finds the gear wear and bearing anomalies behind these results.

What AI Care adds over Care
AI fault diagnostics and diagnostic reports
1 automatic diagnostic per asset per day, plus 30 manual per month
Weekly and monthly reports, data comparison, 12 months data retention

Choose AI Care Plus for unlimited automatic diagnostics, remaining-life forecasts with Mina Ultra and 24 months data retention.

Smaller teams can start on Care: AI condition monitoring and daily reports with 10 user accounts, then move to AI Care when you need AI fault diagnostics.

Can DHMSCare monitor agitators, centrifuges, pumps and compressors in a chemical plant?

Yes. DHMSCare monitors centrifuges, pumps, including canned pumps, and compressors in chemical plants, and the motors and gearboxes that drive agitators; for hazardous areas it offers IECEx-certified hardware. A canned pump is a sealed pump with the motor inside the casing. DHMSCare offers hardware certified under IECEx, the international scheme for equipment used in explosive atmospheres; the certificate states which models and zones it covers, and you should ask us for the certificate before ordering for a hazardous area.

Questions

We are a small or mid-sized company. Is this for us?

Yes. Start with one line and one gateway, subscribe per sensor per year, and begin on AI Care; Care if you only need condition monitoring.

How long does a one-line pilot take?

Installation follows the seven steps in our quick installation guide: create the equipment, mount the gateway, attach the sensors and bind the measuring points. We agree the pilot period with you by line size.

We have no vibration engineer. Can we still use it?

Yes. The AI identifies early fault signs, assesses equipment health and gives maintenance recommendations, and Mina tells you which machine to handle first and why.

Which equipment should a chemical plant monitor first?

Circulation pumps, compressors, fans and agitators: their bearings, gearboxes and motors.

Can the sensors be installed on hazardous-area equipment?

Sensors attach to the outside of the machine, and the gateway can sit 60–80 m away — outside the process area.

How is the point plan sized?

One sensor per bearing point: 3 per machine, as in the table above (motor drive end and non-drive end, plus one bearing on the driven machine). Actual quantities are confirmed on site, and we map the points on your machines before we talk.
