It focuses on early fault warning and pre-diagnosis for key equipment in coal preparation plants, improving equipment management efficiency, reducing the labor intensity of operators, and ensuring safe production. This project holds significant promotional value and can serve as a model for the entire coal washing and selection industry.
The challenge
A coal preparation plant is responsible for coal washing, grading, and dewatering, serving as a key step in improving coal quality and reducing environmental pollution. The plant must operate continuously in high-humidity, high-dust environments with extremely high requirements for process stability.
Coal Washer: Removes impurities from coal through water flow and mechanical action, requiring stable water flow, pressure, and agitation performance.
Screening Machine: Grades coal using screens of different apertures, requiring high wear resistance of the screens and stable vibration performance.
Centrifugal Dewatering Machine: Removes moisture from coal using centrifugal force, requiring high stability of bearings and motors.
Production Interruptions Affect Product Quality
Unplanned downtime reduces coal preparation efficiency, and coal retained in equipment is prone to oxidation, deterioration, or agglomeration.
Insufficient Preventive Maintenance
Long inspection intervals make early faults difficult to detect, and early abnormalities in bearings, screens, or pumps may be overlooked.
Maintenance Challenges in Wet Environments
Prolonged exposure to water and slurry causes motor moisture ingress, bearing corrosion, and pump wear, and manual inspection requires shutdown and disassembly, resulting in low efficiency.
