Team building: stronger together
DHMS held its team-building day by Yangcheng Lake, where four teams sharpened communication and execution through collaborative challenges.

Autumn breezes brought relief, and the long-awaited team-building day arrived. DHMS colleagues gathered by Yangcheng Lake for a memorable day.
Today we put work aside, relaxed and competed in a test of intelligence and stamina. Through efficient communication and precise execution, colleagues achieved team goals and gained a deeper understanding of teamwork, breaking through and growing with DHMS.

At nine in the morning we gathered at the Yangcheng Lake Lanting Resort Hotel and followed the coach through a playful warm-up. Everyone massaged each other — some enjoyed it, some found it ticklish — and laughter filled the room.

We then formed four teams, designed team names, slogans and logos, and proudly showed off our team spirit. The DHMS team-building day officially began.

The first challenge was Speed Cards: 13 playing cards were placed face down at random in a designated area, and the team that turned over all cards in order first within the time limit won.

Over three rounds, the Superman team stayed united and coordinated closely, winning twice. Other teams kept adjusting their strategies and improved.

The game taught teams how to solve problems, and made everyone realise that effective communication, strategy and execution — and even following the rules — are essential to getting work done.

Minefield tested coordination.

The general, commander and soldiers each had a role: the general gave orders but could not see the field; the commander fed information back through gestures; the blindfolded soldiers moved and attacked only on the general's instructions.

The game showed that only close cooperation and mutual trust lead to victory.

Lunchtime, after the morning activities, a delicious meal in a farmhouse amid autumn scenery was a true pleasure. We sat together, enjoying rare time together, laughter all around, and thanked ourselves for our hard work over a meal.

In the afternoon came the giant painting: four teams had to complete one large blueprint together.

From measuring and coordinating to drawing and colouring, the power of teamwork and individual creativity — and our best wishes and confidence in DHMS's future — made this seemingly impossible task possible.

Meeting, blending and collaborating: through this team-building day we relaxed after busy work, felt the care and warmth of the DHMS family, unlocked potential through interaction, and rediscovered the passion to build and create.

We are ready to meet the challenges of the new year with even greater energy.
