Does DHMSCare mistake process vibration for a fault?
Short answer
DHMSCare learns each machine's normal vibration, including the steady vibration its process creates, and an operating state your team confirms gets its own normal level, so steady process vibration on its own is not reported as a motor, gearbox or bearing fault. A new change is still reported, even when the process may have caused it, so your team can check whether the process or the machine has changed. DHMSCare monitors the health of rotating equipment; it does not monitor the cutting process itself.
