An optical fibre and cable maker.
DHMSCare monitors the bearings and drives of its stranding-line binders.

Hengtong Optic-Electric (Guangdong plant) makes optical fibre and cable; this case covers the binders on its production stranding line.
Binders: The binders on the stranding line spin at high speed to wrap yarn around the cable core, and their bearing pedestals and binder-drum drives decide whether the step keeps running.
Stranding produces continuous lengths, so a binder that stops mid-run can leave a length that has to be cut out or scrapped.
The binder drums run fast, so their bearings and motors wear quickly and can fail suddenly.
The hall runs several lines side by side, and checking every binder by hand cannot keep up.

The binder pedestal bearings' vibration level and temperature are sampled on a fixed schedule and compared with their own baseline, so early bearing changes are flagged before they affect stranding quality.
The drum drive motor's spectrum is compared like for like against its own baseline, locating early faults to a specific component.
